Restaurant nice and pleasant with a quiet, comfortable atmosphere. Food lovely, cod cooked to perfection with nice chips. Staff attentive and friendly. There is a separate section next door for takeaway orders.
The food was excellent. The chips are crispy outside, fluffy inside and not greasy. The cod was perfectly cooked - just fine to train its moisture and the batter was crispy, light and not greasy. The squid and white bait were very good too. Presentation and service were excellent and the cost for an eat-in chippy (about 10 quid a head including drinks) was reasonable. Highly recommended.
