The live music on a Saturday afternoon is top class. People very friendly and even when busy it's possible to get served quickly. Excellent.

Your best bet in Ormskirk town centre if you want real ale or craft beer (and have any questions about same). Good for a quiet chat, unless you opt for the advertised quiz night or live music sessions.
Very good atmosphere and friendly staff. Good live entertainment Friday night.I noticed a loyalty scheme encouraged local patronage which was nice to see.Only poor toilet facilities let the pub down from a five star review but an enjoyable night nonetheless.
