Rude staff who refuse to serve on the basis of personal opinion rather than no fault of our own. Was greeted by rude staff once who refused to serve me and said I'd "drank too much" when I hadn't even had a drink because of who I was friends with. Now recently my friend has been refused to be served by staff because her ex boyfriend works their who was a nasty piece of work who stole her job as she is ex staff now. This is our local and I'm disgusted on how we are being treated for doing no wrong and will not be returning or spending another penny in this pub.
My boyfriend brought me here for a meal for date night. Inside had more of a local feel. And my boyfriend commented I thought it was better than this.. However we picked a nice quiet table looking over the canal which was quiet a romantic spot.. the staff was friendly.. our meals was really nice.. I had Gammon and chips, an I'm not a chip fan but they was amazing chips.. I would definitely recommend here
